EM Wakaluba

EM Wakaluba is beautiful black, Hanoverian mare born in 2003 standing about 16.2hh. We purchased this mare in 2008 (she was in foal to Florencio) from her breeder Kareen Heineking-Schütte and we kept her in Germany to have access to stallions otherwise not available to us in North America. Wakaluba is an outstanding producer, truly comfortable mare to ride with an outstanding pedigree. She has proven herself time and again.
In 2010, Wakaluba blessed us with a gorgeous liver chestnut filly with four full stockings and a blaze by Dancier (Dame Daisy WS). We imported her (in foal to Dancier) in 2011 along with her Floriscount filly, Fotogenic WS (retained for our breeding program). Wakaluba has a colt by Dancier (Den Marq WS, being raised a stallion prospect), filly by Bugatti Hilltop (Believe WS), colt by Freestyle (Finnegan WS). Ironically, Fotogenic WS, Den Marq WS, Believe WS and Finnegan WS were all at the same Hanoverian inspection site and each one was a winner of their class or futurity. We were able to get a group photo and you can see how she stamps her offspring!
Wakaluba is a true asset to our breeding program and we’re thrilled to have her.
Wakaluba's sire was the 2002 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year - Warkant

Warkant is the sire of 46 state premium mares. His daughters passed their mare performance tests with excellent results. It ensued that Warkant achieved a marvellous breeding evaluation of 156 points and that he is one of Hanover’s top-quality dressage stallions. Nine of his sons were licensed.
Hohenstein, 2002 Trakehner Stallion of the Year, is a noble stallion who attracts attention with his type and expression and beautiful black coat. A harmonious horse that stands over a lot of ground, he possesses optimal movement in all three basic gaits. His energetic rear quarters produce movement with lots of swing and verve. He was the outstanding stallion of his 1993 keuring, Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test, where he was the most striking and noticeable horse. He lived up to the attention with a win in the rideability portion of the test. Hohenstein was the 1995 Trakehner Champion and third in the Federal "S" Championships. By the age of seven, he had already won his first "S" dressage event. He also has plenty of wins in Prix St. George and Intermediare I.
