Our little surprise package arrived a couple days early, in the
pasture! Strong, healthy and look at those
straight legs! What a wonderful surprise!
Rosoenna and her World Champion Sir Donnerhall son,
Sergeant Major, are doing great! Sir Donnerhall
was also the Reserve World Champion and
the German National Champion for the 5
Year Old dressage horses 2006.
Check out his long legs, refined, and an overall super
(modern) type. His dam, Rosoenna, is a German
Oldenburg mare that was imported November, 2006
with this colt in-utero. She is by Rosier
(Rubinstein I x Weltmeister). With 12 successful
offspring in competition as well as his own performance,
Rosier has achieved a breeding value of 142 according to
the FN with a certainty of 85%. His performance
test in Neutstadt Dosse earned him an outstanding
overall score of 132.95 and a perfect 10
for rideability. He was the State
champion in 1994 and 1995, and was a
successful participant in the German
National Championships.
Sergeant Major is sure to be an outstanding dressage
horse for the future if not a fantastic stallion
prospect and the comments from the Hanoverian judges
during SGM's inspection (and branding) on August 27,
2007 agree with us that this is a very special colt!
"Very typey, very
modern looking, very pretty head and
neck. A little bit younger than some of
the other ones. Movement is really
outstanding. Very elastic, very uphill.
Super hindquarters pushing forward. I
think he is going to be a super riding
horse type. Again, very elastic."
