Luna Llena 2005 Chestnut 15.2+ American Warmblood mare Champion Filly at her Inspection Champ at breed show German Oldenburg Verband - Approved for breeding
SOLD - CONGRATULATIONS TO NANCY T. IN ILLINOIS!

Born May 23, 2005, we call Luna the Walkabout Station greeter
because she's always the first one to greet the
horse trailers that are coming, runs across the
field to say goodbye as they leave and loves to
greet (human) strangers who may come
to visit. Her "look at me" personality
drew us to her the first time we saw her in
Flagstaff, Arizona as a yearling (pictured
below). |

October 12, 2009 - Luna
Llena by For Utah II out of a TB mare was approved for breeding and placed in GOV's PSB II! This
athletic, attractive chestnut mare, "Luna" was bred by Judy Weiss of Belly
Acres in Flagstaff, AZ.
Luna loves attention ... a people pleaser
with a great work ethic. She is flexible, athletic, brave with three
solid gaits ... up to date with all her shots,
farrier and worming ... ready to go to her next
competitive home!

January 2, 2009 - Luna is back after being gone for 10 months. Luna has
been in training with Susie Wiedman, USDF gold medalist and licensed USEF “r” judge, of
Ovation Farms in Sanford, NC. Well done, Susie ... we're so glad that
you agree she's an amazing mare. Here she is fresh off the trailer from
North Carolina ... a little sweaty since it was 50 degrees colder when she left
NC than when she arrived 15 hrs later in Texas! Click on Luna's photo
(left) for larger view. |
|
Pictured (right) is Luna's full brother, Flag, who is currently in Florida
training at the O'Connors. Look at the family resemblance, amazing, eh?
They may not be big (15.3) but they're mighty ...
and truly make up in "heart" and personality what
they don't have in height! Click on Flag's
photo (right) for larger view. A big thanks to
their breeder, Judy Weiss of Belly Acres Farm in
Flagstaff for sharing Flag's photo. |

February 7, 2008 ... Luna is in North Carolina just starting
her training ...
first off to be gently broken to saddle, bridle and then
onto Susie Wiedman for her formal education!
Luna is just so smart, feisty and beautiful
even after being in the trailer for over 24 hours!
