We have decided to bring Izzy home and hopefully get her in foal the beginning
of 2011. Our current thought is to breed her to Sir Donnerhall.

awards for 2010 and I couldn't resist taking a
picture. WOW, she earned a bunch!
Amazing, just amazing! She has made us
very proud.
December 8, 2010 Woohoo ... Izzy won the AHS 2010
Materiale Award for Fillies and Mares Division – Three-, Four- and
Five-Year-Olds with a 83%.

FEI Test Awards Perpetual Trophy Recipients - Izzy is the Reserve Champion with

An Instant Pick! (2009)
November 4-5, 2010 Izzy
and Erika did great at the Regionals this weekend. We are so proud of them
both! They earned a Res Champ in Training Level for Region 9 with 72.40%,
a third place (13 in class) in SWDC with 69.40%, and fourth place in both Region
9 with 66.842% (15 in class) and 67.237% in SWDC (20 in class). Now for
the tough decision ... do we continue showing in 2011 or bring her home and
(hopefully) make her a momma (fulfilling her Elite Mare requirements)?
Decisions, decisions!

29, 2010 Results are in ... Izzy
is the 4 & 5 Year Old Mare, USDF MATERIALE HORSE OF THE YEAR! WOW, what a
year she's having! Did I mention how proud we are of her and her
rider/trainer, Erika-West Danque? What a great team they are!
September 6, 2010 Izzy
qualified in one weekend in First Level! She had her best 4 yr old
Materiale classes (83% on Saturday and 85% on Sunday), on Saturday she received
a 70.667% in L1-1 and 68.684 in L1-4. Sunday 75.667 in L1-1 and 67.105 in
L1-4.
July 24, 2010 There was a horrible storm, lots of rain, flooded
streets, Chicago even closed down a couple of their highways (if you can believe
that??). A tree actually came down on one of the show barns (no one hurt,
thank goodness, but I suspect that Contester II was very happy to be moved).
So there was an hour delay in getting the Championships started and Izzy is
first in the ring. There is still standing water in the ring (they have
done lots of hand raking trying to get it under control) but no worries, Izzy
doesn't mind water. Note: the big startled look and "shy" from Izzy is
because someone climbed over the fence with a raincoat on DURING the test (yes, the "climber"
is a blonde). LOL This was a remarkable experience ... and we couldn't be happier! Thanks to
everyone in Team Izzy ... and CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who participated.
Great horses, great riders, great experience!

Izzy is the HDS Summer Shows I & II National Champion. What a
weekend for our 4 year old Ana Isabellah! She was in a total of five
classes during the two days of miserable, hot, humid temperatures in Katy, Texas
and brought home five blue ribbons, amazing!! Erika and Izzy won the Level
1-1 with a very respectable 72.667 and the T4 with 73.60! For complete results from the 13th ...

Erika-West Danque showed Ana Isabellah in
three classes and brought home three blue ribbons plus the High Score National
Champion and High Score Hanoverian! We couldn't be happier.
Izzy scored a 76.6 in the 4 Year Old Young Horse Class (resulting in a 77.1
average ... fingers crossed that's enough to keep us in the top 15 to go to
Lamplight in July), she earned a 73.8 in Materiale and a 74.80 in her T4 class.

Izzy won in her first L1-1 test today with 68% and earned a second place ribbon
for her score of 72% in T-4. What a weekend this has been for Izzy and
Erika. A real bonus ... Gary got to share in the rewards when Izzy was High Score Champion
and received the Hedley Lamberty Owner's Trophy for 2010. What an honor.

April 24, 2010 Izzy won USEF 4 YEAR OLD YOUNG HORSE-QUALIFYING
FINALE CLASS with a
77.6% and Rhosa finished fourth with 66.2%. We are proud to bursting!
Izzy has been amazing and it now appears that Izzy has qualified and we will be
invited to Lamplight for the Nationals in July ... only the top 15 get invited
and so far, Izzy is 7th in the country ... to see updated results,

Houston Dressage Society Winter Shows I & II were held at the
Great Southwest
Equestrian Center, Katy, TX. Izzy was just amazing, earning four blue
ribbons in her four classes ... and High Score Champion too! Her T4 on
Saturday was respectable at 66.8 and 70.0% on Sunday (she's now qualified for
both Regional 9 and SWDC). Izzy and Erika did great on their first "YOUNG
HORSE TEST OF CHOICE" earning (Saturday) 72.2 and (Sunday) 75.2. For

West Dressage Championships (SWDC) were held at the
Great Southwest
Equestrian Center, Katy, TX in conjunction with the 2009 GAIG/USDF
Region 9 Championship. This was Izzy's first exposure to a show of this
magnitude and for a youngster, she took things pretty much in stride ... that is
until the tornado warnings, 40 mph winds and pounding rain that made the metal
roofs sound like we were in a washing machine with bad ball bearings! Not
much fun for any of the competitors, 2 legged or four legged! So much
drama! In any event, she did her test wide eyed (that's an understatement)
and alert, although not in her normal, relaxed fashion earning her lowest score
to date at 64.2 ending up 9th out of 22 competitors in the SWDC. She was
in the same test (T4) in the afternoon (very wet, muddy, sloppy but not storming
down rain) and earned her very best score to date at 72.0 earning her the High
Score Champion award on November 1st. Go figure! This was a great
learning experience for us all ... and she has earned her first score towards
the Regionals in 2010! CONGRATULATIONS to all who attended!

Mare Performance Test = 7.88!
Definitely had the best canter of the bunch and just three years old! She
was simply wonderful completing the MPT and her first mare inspection on the same day.
Her mare inspection score was 7.66, making her the High Score Hanoverian mare and now
an Elite Mare Candidate. (Gary is proud to bursting ... he chose Izzy when
she was only 6 weeks old and she's been his 'baby' ever since!)
